Experienced Lean Project Professionals, £300-700pd, London
A leading banking group is looking to hire experienced Lean Professionals to work on a Business Process Re-engineering Programme.This roles are key to the Global Lean Change Programme team and will be responsible for working with the PMO, Programme Manager and team in supporting a consistent and effective approach to project programme management, financial management, MI, governance control and communications.
Role Summary:
Build a community of highly skilled and business connected Lean practitioners
Embed a continuous improvement culture within the line teams in the business
Ensure the benefit realised is sustained through the deployment of new working practices
Articulate the Finance Target Operating Model
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Deliver an improved understanding of end to end business process performance
Accountable to executive sponsors for the plan, budget, and quality of the programme
Help planning and designing the programme
Communicating the programme vision and outcomes
Defining the programme's governance structure
Estimating, planning, agreeing and managing the programmes budget
Reviewing/ approving project plans for conformance to programme strategy and plan
Managing the programme risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
Monitoring and managing quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme, ensuring there is consistency across the programme
Monitoring and reporting on the Programmes progress and performance.
Managing key stakeholder relationships e.g. sponsor, working groups, steering committee
Managing cross functional relationships effectively
Essential Experience:
Deep understanding and experience of Lean and its practical applications in business process re-engineering within a strategic programme.
Proven track record of large scale, multi-year and complex programme deliveries in an Investment Bank
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
Good knowledge of project management approaches
An understanding of the Financial Markets business and delivering MI solutions to the business

Desirable skills:
Qualified accountant or qualified by experience preferred.
Good understanding of investment banking products
Familiarity with Finance, Operations and Risk functional processes
Knowledge of Finance and Operations systems used within Banking
