Overall Job Summary:

This person will assist with routine facilities tasks and maintenance, trouble shooting, and special projects. Works with a diverse population of management, staff, and vendors. Assists in ensuring a clean, safe working environment. Supervises staff of 4-5 individuals. Takes direction from the Facilities Operations Manager.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-       Manage 3rd party contractors

-       Manage building maintenance

-       Manage landscaping and parking lo

-       Manage waste removal

-       Receive deliveries on receiving dock

-       Performs mechanical troubleshooting to equipment errors or failures

-       Performs repairs in response to equipment errors or failures that affect the facility.

-       Maintains equipment maintenance logs

-       Serves as a liaison between vendors and outside contractors.

-       Orders and maintains inventory of supplies as assigned

-       Assists in the maintenance of records.

-       With limited guidance, prioritizes and executes responsibilities efficiently checks own work and possibly the work of others work results are of the highest quality standards.

-       Decisions have a moderate to advanced scope and impact operations of the department or department deadlines

-       Assists Management in the development or adaptation of existing operations processes for greater efficiency or improved quality recommends new ideas/approaches for own department

-       May coordinate the work of employees performing similar duties may check work and provide feedback

-       Regularly trains employees on skills/ processes and occasionally assists those resolving escalated situations and other problem solving.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

-       College Degree Preferred

-       Requires a valid driver’s license.

-       Driving record must be in good standing.

-       Ideal Candidates will have 4-5 years of experience in Facility Operations
