FI Coverage Director, China recruitment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide investor intermediary sales and coverage expertise

• Act as deal primary and key relationship senior on a portfolio of customers (mainland Chinese clients), selling investor intermediary solutions against customer opportunities sourced by Client Executive, FI Relationship Management and other areas of the bank.

• Reflect the needs of our customers back to the Product organization.

• Manage the deal pipeline process, once identified, through to implementation including: assembling the appropriate deal team; working with product client management to package the best solution; championing complex deals or multi-product opportunities through the deal review process;

• Driving client communications including RFPs and pitch books in coordination with RFP unit and client executive manager; interfacing with the product organization on deal pricing; ensuring efficient and effective transition post-mandate to the implementation team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years relevant industry experience

• Graduate with sound English - written and oral

• Detailed knowledge in banking FI sector

• Ability to Manage clients at a senior level

• Sound understanding of risk and financing products

• Strong interpersonal and professional management skills

• Ability to sell strategically

• Credit and risk management experience a plus

• Flexibility to travel and working hours

• Highly motivated to succeed – proactive and focused

• Ability to influence and leverage relationships and work with all levels of management internally and externally.

• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both Mandarin and English
