Finance Director – Global Financial Institution recruitment
The Company
Our client is a leading Global Financial Institution with a strong reputation in the market. Due to recent restructuring in the team in North Asia, our client is seeking a dynamic Finance Director with strong business sense who can partner with the business and cope with the highly competitive business environment and drive the business.
The Role
Reporting to the Group CFO, you should be responsible for the following:
- Partner with the business heads and senior management to analyse the market and products from finance perspective and provide profound insights to lift business and financial performance;
- Deliver forward looking financial information to enable the business and senior management to make informed strategic decisions;
- Formulate short to long term strategic position and support the department in providing timely and accurate regional management reports to regional management.
- Regional budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Reporting process and system improvement
- Ensure compliance of Accounting Standards and Regulatory Reporting requirement such as SFC.
- Other ad-hoc projects (e.g. Forecasting, North Asia presentation material, etc.)
Your Profile
- Qualified accountant with degree in Accountancy or related discipline
- at least 12 years experience gained from Financial Services Sector or Multi-national conglomerate with strong business sense;
- solid experience in Financial Control is essential
- excellent communication and managerial skills;
- independent, hands-on, responsible and detail-oriented are the desired qualities
- able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- High proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
