Finance Director (Retail) recruitment
Responsibilities:
• overall financial management responsibility of the Singapore operations, including the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials at the Group level
• oversee budget execution, financial forecasting, cash flow, and accounts payable and receivable
• work with the Executive Director, the CFO and other directors in the identification and development of new businesses, and provide insightful financial advice and support
• evaluate and improve, with the help of IT team, information technology infrastructure for Finance, implementing new technologies to support key finance capabilities as required for future growth
• work closely with his/her team to ensure proper payable and receivable execution
• develop and retain a professional top-producing finance team
Requirements:
• bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
• 12 years’ previous experience in Finance, with at least 3 years within a retail business
• experience working with an SGX-listed company is preferred
• progressive career track record of success with a sound commercial business understanding.
• experiences relating to financial strategy, risk management, investment management, profit and loss and balance sheet analysis, bookkeeping and accounting, budget management, flow of funds management and reporting
• strong leadership, analytical and commercial skills, with attention to details
• a self-starter, proactive team player and highly organized
• good at building relationships across all levels of personnel
• polished presentation and interpersonal skills
• articulate written and oral communications
• track record of achieving excellent results in change management and business development preferred
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
