Zimmer Corporate offices are based in Warsaw, Indiana, located three-hours east of Chicago in the scenic northern Indiana lake country. Corporate functions based in Warsaw include Research and Development, Legal, Finance and Treasury, Brand Management, Marketing Communications and Medical Education including the home facility for the global Zimmer Institute. Also based in Warsaw are Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, global Public Affairs and Corporate Marketing and global Human Resources functions.

Job Summary

The financial leader of large global business segment.  Serves as business partner to the General Manager driving proactive financial, analytical and decision support. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

§  Able to manage a PL and balance sheet. 

§  Mastery of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial analysis. 

§  Understanding of Zimmer products and strategic business units along with industry trends and competitive strategy outlook in order to identify opportunities.

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

§  B.A. /B.S. degree in accounting/finance.  M.B.A. is preferred.  8+ years of increasingly more challenging financial responsibility, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in a broad-based financial management role and experience in a non-financial operational assignment.  C.P.A. beneficial
