Finance Technician

Are you an experienced accounts assistant seeking a full time temporary job within an established public service base in Cambridgeshire.

Our client is a public service provider in the Cambridgeshire region. They are looking for a finance technician with AAT level 3 or equivalent.

The main duties in the role will include: Inputting and reconciling data and investigation of any issues, Payment coding, Data Inputting, Investigation of variances and missing data, Identification and reporting of late or missing payments, Liaising with different departments to resolve matters as necessary.

The ideal candidate will come from an accounts background. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level - being able to create spreadsheets and input formulas) and other MS Office programs is vital as well as accounting programs (Oracle, etc), they must have experience reconciling data and be confident identifying and analysing problems with a high degree of attention to detail.

This is a great opportunity for someone who can work in a team and on their own initiative and is looking for an opportunity in public service.
