The Company
A boutique International bank is looking add a qualified Financial accountant to work as a Legal entity controller as they look to expand. The office is based in the West End of London and they are looking to bring a commercially minded and qualified accountant with strong derivatives OR commodities knowledge.
The Role
The Financial Accountant/ Legal entity controller working for this expanding boutique bank in the west end will have the opportunity to join a small team and enjoy a diverse role where you can develop and broaden your accounting skills while being exposed to commodities trading and derivative products. This is a broad and exciting role essentially working as a Financial Controller looking at all the entity accounts, looking after all income of the trading of commodities, expenses with the opportunity to become exposed to Tax, Product control and Regulatory matters further down the line. You will be exposed to senior stakeholders and be responsible and accountable for everything to do with the UK entity.You must be a qualified or nearly qualified accountant, ACA or ACCA preferred, with strong financial accounting skills. Knowledge of commodities and how to account for derivatives would help secure an interview, at least one of commodities or derivatives is essential. Salary Benefits
The Financial Accountant/ Legal entity controller in the West End of London will be offered between £52,000 to 65,000 per annum plus excellent bonuses and benefits. Robert Half Financial Services.
