Financial Analyst - System Support
The ideal Financial Analyst possesses a unique blend of business, technical and people skills to provide financial systems reporting analysis and support for a multitude of applications used by the business functional groups across the company. This position plays a key role as a subject matter expert for financial systems, acts as a liaison with IT support when responding to both critical and routine application support requests, and develops and maintains any technical and business related documentation that pertains to daily system processing and user training. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: · Work primarily with colleagues in the immediate business, functional business and IT Dev team regarding routine matters, including user report troubleshooting and system timing issues. · Coordinate user requests for system restructure updates, including analysis of Scorecard reporting impact and testing of the system?s structures. · Develop and maintain reports and analysis in assistance with the global forecast process and publication. · Develop and maintain training documentation for SAP financial processes and conduct training for new users. · Develop and execute test plans for unit and user testing and document results. · Administer system security requirements for the business community, including quarterly audits. · Maintain monthly/annual process calendars for Forecasting and Planning deliverables. · Demonstrate ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams. · Possess very good financial analysis and problem solving skills for user inquiries and system issues. · Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills to frequently interact with all levels of the organization. · Accept ownership of tasks and sub-projects and work under limited direction. Skills: · Strong computer skills: Highly proficient in Excel, Hyperion Essbase and SAP experience a plus. · Appropriate understanding of computer architecture and database attributes. · Good Communication skills with customer service mentality. · Attention to accuracy, problem solving skills, sense of urgency. · This person must be a self starter and self sufficient, requiring minimal supervision of day to day processing, issue tracking and resolution.
