Financial Consultant ll
Responsibility for the day to day management of a branch based investment territory, including but not limited to; development of new investment and insurance sales; servicing existing client relationships; and developing and cultivating branch based delivery channel.
- Sell a broad array of investment insurance products to existing CFSI and bank customers. Meet with clients to determine investment needs, recommend investment strategies and present investment choices. Call on potential clients to develop new business by promoting CFSI products and services.
- Adhere to all CFSI procedural requirements including completion of appropriate paperwork to establish investment accounts in good order and timely submission of referral tracking information to CFSI and branch management.
- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with branch personnel in assigned territory. Maintain agreed upon schedule with each branch within territory. Provide timely follow-up on all referrals generated within territory. Return calls to all branches and customers/prospects in timely manner. Provide regular products and referral training sessions.
- Provide referrals and cross-sell opportunities to branch partners and financial consultants.
- Provide coaching and sales support to Branch Investment Consultant and Branch Registered Reps. Promote ethical and fully compliant behavior within territory. Work closely with BIC /BRR’s to develop programs to increase knowledge and production. In concert with bank management, develop and conduct seminars.
Qualifications
Typical minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Typical minimum experience: 3+years experience.
Technical knowledge and skills: Series 6 63 licenses and LA H required and FC must have all state mandated licenses to sell full array of our products within 6 months of hire. Series 7 24 licenses preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word products.
Team oriented, collaborative, and strong work ethic qualities desired.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
