Financial Controller recruitment
A leading mutli-line underwriter, headquartered in the US with ambitious UK growth plans seeks a Financial Controller to assist with the new strategic direction of the firm. Due to a recent acquisition, and with the CFO stepping into a more operational capacity, this position will see the incumbent involved in leading a small team through all day to day financial and management accounting needs, regulatory reporting and compliance, alongside more strategic ad hoc projects as required. There will be constant exposure to senior level individuals within the firm and as a result progression will be rapid.
Given the nature of the position, past experience has shown that you should be a qualified accountant (or equivalent), with a wealth of experience in the Insurance arena. You should able to demonstrate a good track record in leading core finance teams, and any project involvement in your career date will enhance your chances of securing the role. Being able to liaise with individuals at all levels is a must, and a good working knowledge of excel is essential.
