Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst
My client, a leading Asset Management business are looking for an additional member to their Financial Planning and Analysis team. The team are responsible for client servicing board members and heads of business units. This role includes the provision of high quality and timely financial management information, analysis and advice to assist with strategic decision making, planning and performance evaluation of the business.
Crucial to the team’s success is consideration of accounting matters and the accuracy of statutory ledgers, alongside these strategic considerations. The team works closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders across various business divisions and both internal and external projects. The team sits centrally in London, but works closely with the wider Finance division globally to ensure accurate and timely information flows into the strategic financial management process. Effective, insightful and proactive support for the wider business is the key success criteria.
The candidate will become quickly acquainted with the business, legal entity structures, systems and our internal clients’ needs. The role will encompass direct client servicing within the context of the team objectives. The candidate will work to support the team with stakeholder requests and will participate actively in both the annual budget process and the statutory year end.
Key responsibilities might include:
- Preparation of financial analysis, written reports and presentations for a wide variety of internal clients and legal entities
- High level of input to the annual strategy and budgeting processes
- Involvement in the Company and legal entity year-ends, including liaising with auditors as required;
- Internal and external projects with financial and feasibility assessments;•
- Working closely with the management reporting team to analyse business unit performance and the communication of this to key stakeholders;
- Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet stakeholder requests and needs
Candidates will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and inevitably have an impressive career history to date through achievements including where they have added value. FS experience preferred.
