Finnish – Senior Sales Manager recruitment

Relationship managers call upon product and solutions specialists to assist in presenting products, benefits, and solutions to prospective clients. As Relationship Manager you will be expected to establish sales strategy at the account level, identify sales opportunities through client-side discussions, direct sales specialists, and to manage sales cycles to closure as well as to aid in retention of existing accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Market the clients products and services to the Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Financing and Corporate sectors in UK and Finland
• Convey the clients value proposition and deliver on sales targets for both new and recurring revenue
• Strong pipeline management
• Improving footprint with in existing organisations and re-enforce value proposition to retain and grow client relationships
• High level of representation of the clients products, services and capabilities
• Strong negotiation skills and comfort with C-level interactions
• Maintain high level of product knowledge and industry practices in credit and risk management
• Gain and maintain familiarity with client organization and processes to help direct them towards the
• appropriate solution set
• Manage sales cycles using coordination and communication skills to involve sales specialist and management where appropriate
• Build and maintain new and existing client relationships through a strategic based approach in order
• to increase sales activities and to achieve yearly targets
• Must identify specific issues facing the client based on personal knowledge of industry practices
• Position requires significant and regular travel within Europe
 

Candidate
• Strong educational background, preferably gained in a finance, numerical or sciences
• Must have 10+ years experience working within or selling into capital markets, commercial banking and/or insurers in the UK and Finnish
• Experience in selling financial software would be preferred
• Extensive sales and/or relationship management experience is required, preferably within the
• financial services sector
• Must be able to speak and write fluent English and Finnish
• Solid demonstrated understanding of the financial markets, with experience in credit preferred
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within MA
• Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills and able to successfully manage multiple client
• relationships
• Strong negotiation skills and able to influence key decision makers during the sales process
• Highly organised and good time management skills
• Must have the motivation and ability to excel in an intense, high energy, selling environment
