FP&A Manager

An excellent, newly created FPA role has come up with a specialty lines insurance business who are continuing to grow and develop as a result of their ambitious plans. From their London office they write international business across a wide range of lines including Property Casualty, Marine, Energy, Aviation and other specialty lines.

In this role, you will work as a Finance Business Partner to provide first class financial planning, analysis and project support to the Underwriters and Senior Management team. This will include coordinating the annual budget and forecasting process for the Lloyd's syndicate, working with the underwriters to understand their management information needs and then presenting and explaining insightful reports. The nature of this role will give you a high level of exposure across the business and presents an opportunity to have a direct impact on the strategic and commercial plans for the business. It is very much a finance role that sits in the business and therefore will require someone who will take a proactive approach to going out into different teams, building relationships and showing then how you can add value.

I am therefore looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA) with post qualified experience with financial planning and analysis in an insurance business. I would expect to see clear evidence that your career has progressed and given you recent exposure to supporting and influencing commercial decisions. To show your ability to work with Senior decision makers I will also expect to see achievements that show how you have added value to the business through your role.
