Senior financial accountant
I am currently working on behalf of an International Insurance client assisting them in appointing a Senior Financial accountant. This is a growing business currently undergoing operational changes with new Finance models being implemented due to the rate of growth.
The role sits within the Finance insurance accounting department and is responsible for assisting the Financial controllers to manage the accounting and reporting activities as well as;
- Carry out data reconciliation's between different systems to check for data accuracy/ integrity
- Assist in the monthly close process, preparation of underwriting and non underwriting journals
- Overseas liaison to ensure overall output and quality of the service provided is to a high standard
- Assist in production of monthly and quarterly results.
To apply for this role you must be a qualified chartered accountant ACCA (or equivalent) with a strong accounting background, preferably Insurance. You will need to be experienced with working in a complex financial services environment. I will be looking for evidence that you are a dynamic individual able to adapt quickly to change.
