One of our Tier 1 Investment Banks is currently embarking upon a green field programme of work across their Cash, Collateral and Liquidity space. As a result they need a Functional Architect or Technical Business Analyst to join the funding and liquidity work stream to help implement scalable technology infrastructure to support the Cash Collateral and Liquidity Operations functions.

The system will be designed to perform across multiple business functions globally and you will be responsible for ensuring it is flexible, extendable, and has configurability for the business needs. The scope of the role is very broad including an intraday predicted balance (today and future) representation, payment release functions, internal / external payment matching (for intraday accurate account balances), balance transfer functions, trend analytics, liquidity utilisation (and charging) module, integrating with a centralised transaction event data store.

As the Functional Architect / Technical Business Analyst you will be accountable for the functional solution of the global program, ensuring quality, efficiency and effectiveness of artifacts and solutions provided by the program. With a green field program, adaptability, agility and flexibility with passionate and confident representation and appropriate ownership is key to the program success.

Essential skills:
• Experience in cash management or liquidity management processes and implementations
• Investment Banking experience in either the middle or back office
• Technical background (inc XML , Component based Architecture, Messaging, SQL)
• Experience of working in large data acquisition projects
• Experience of working in an agile environment
• Experience of working on Global projects and applications supporting global user groups
• Business Analysts experience
• Line Management responsibilities for team of up to 10 persons
