Funds Compliance – Trading Floor based recruitment

A trading floor advisory role is not for the faint hearted and requires a demanding mix of technical knowledge and soft skills that range from flexibility and a good commercial feel to the ability to assert yourself and construct convincing, compelling arguments when required.

The bank runs a high number of individual funds with ETF expanding so you wil have plenty to get your teeth into, hence multi-tasking and the ability to correctly prioritise workload and issues will be key.

In terms of jurisdictions, UK will be the key one but any experience in dealing with Ireland or Luxembourg would be useful.  Good technical knowledge of structured products is important and ideally you will have some compliance experience gained in non-related areas to give you breadth and a big picture awareness of compliance as a function in general.

The role has many distinctive attractions, perhaps the main one being the quality of the team you'd be joining - as good as any we've come across.  You'd also have more security than many organisations can offer in that the bank has completed their strategic reviews and this role supports a profitable business area with a strong future.  Work life balance is also something that is distinctly above average for an investment bank and the package of salary, bonus and benefits is a strong one.
