Reporting to the CIO, your main role is to assist the CIO in managing the offshore global macro fund with asset classes ranges from equities, bonds, foreign exchanges and commodities in both emerging and developed markets. Daily responsibility involves assisting in the management of developmental products according to the funds’ given strategy; supporting the team in the development of a robust global research, analytics, risk and attribution infrastructure and as well as monitoring of the macroeconomic and fundamental trends within the market in order to generate appropriate investment recommendations.
To qualify, you must have over 5 years of experience as FX Strategist/ Research covering regional markets, either on the buy or sell side firm. You must have a mindset of working effectively independently to analyze market and economic data and an ability to create presentations to outline and support your economic views taken on regional markets.
