PURPOSE:

In support of State Street's commitment to excellence in serving our customer's needs, the Global Sr. Operations Analyst's purpose is to ensure the integrity of the data and support the operations necessary to perform the organizations daily foreign exchange and fixed income business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain of the customer static data and foreign currency settlement instructions on the Wall Street System (WSS) for SSGM's foreign currency trading clients.

Maintenance of foreign currency demand deposit accounts (DDA's) on the IBS system for all Boston and Toronto custody clients and internal clients.

Monitor the ALERT system and determine the impact, if any, to the settlement instructions of the third party banking customers. Maintain various databases in support of daily foreign exchange trading operations.Writing reports to query the ORD in order to determine the impact to State Street

Set up and maintain payment instructions on WSS for all of State Street's custody and SSGM direct trading clients.

Act as a liaison between SSGM, Client services and the custody fund groups, towards swift resolutions.

Maintain of the customer static data and SSI's on the Calypso system supporting FCM OTC business for trading clients.  

Managing client conversions and projects from start to finish.

Candidate should have strong communication skills (verbal and written). The candidate should also possess the ability to work as a team player and to work in a detail oriented environment.Must be able to multi-task and reprioritize as time critical issues arise.

Bachelor's Degree and experience working in finance related field are a must. Applicants should have a working knowledge of the following applications: MS Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Crystal Reports.
