Group Finance Director
Full Job Description
The firm is currently recruiting candidates for the position of Group Finance Director. This position will report directly to the Chairman Chief Executive Officer and will sit on the firm`s Executive Committee (5 person Executive Committee, including CEO, COO, FD, Vice Chairmen of Restructuring and Investment Banking). The position will be based in the global headquarters in London.
The selected individual will be a Chartered Accountant- CPA, have a strong core knowledge in internationally recognized accounting standards and prior CFO experience in an international financial services and- or asset management business. Additionally,the individualwill have a demonstrable track record of leadership in a multinational financial services or investment management organization, strong communications and stakeholder management skills and a reputation for ethical conduct. Working knowledge of Fund operations would bea plus.
Our client is a brand new international investment bank specialising in restructuring recapitalization. With offices in New York and London, business development is directed principally at debtor management as well as towards significant stakeholders in stressed-distressed-alternative investment and special situation sectors.An experienced team of investment banking and restructuring professionals has already been identified and retained and the business is expected to grow rapidly.
