GTI – Tech Ops Analyst – Associate – Dubai recruitment
The Dubai IT Infrastructure team is responsible for providing and controlling the end-to-end IT infrastructure delivery across the Dubai JPMorgan office.
The Dubai office has a headcount of approximately 100. The user base is made up of IB front and middle office, AM, PB and TS. We partner with them to achieve efficiencies and accelerate business objectives through strategic technology investment and a sound technology infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:

XPWin 7 desktop support.'
IB Trading floor support.'
Updating support calls for tracking reporting purposes.'
Manage local IT risk via risk portal (Phoenix).'
User / application rollout co-ordination.'
Maintain technology asset inventory (desktop and server).'
Voice recording Administrator.'
Voice/Telephone Administrator.'
Cabling Administrator.'
Monitors systems utilisation performance.'
Resolve routine operational problems and seeks advice in resolving systems error conditions from third line support.'
Monitors error conditions and liaise with the GTI and LOB Problem Management teams when appropriate.'
Performs tasks on daily/ weekly/ monthly checklist.'
Interacts with business users / developers/ and external companies.

Provide on-call support on a rota basis.'
Work with GTI colleagues in other EMEA locations on regional initiativesworkstreams.
Qualifications
Basic SharePoint knowledge.Customer focused with excellent communication skills.In depth experience of 2nd level support, preferably in the Finance Sector.Experience with problem analysis.Windows XP application support vendor package installationGood knowledge of Active Directory and SMS.Good knowledge of PC hardware software architecture.H/W S/W components troubleshooting techniquesGood understanding of PC Networks Operating systems.Knowledge of Capacity Management and its application within IT infrastructure.Strong IT experience within large organisations
