Our client is a successful, rapidly growing and highly acclaimed international bank. Through consistent strategy, sound lending and focused acquisitions, the organisation has achieved a market leading return on equity. Working with Chinese firms doing business overseas as well as international companies expanding in Asia, the bank is building its Hong Kong commercial banking platform to further strengthen its cross border business. The organisation now requires an experienced banker to lead this expansion.
The Head of Commercial Banking will be responsible for building and leading a high performance team of Relationship Managers. Targeting high quality mid–cap clients who would benefit from the bank’s lending expertise, you will harness the bank’s unique advantages to aggressively grow the loan portfolio. Working with Hong Kong registered companies; you will build cross border business between Hong Kong and China and also Hong Kong and the world.
The ideal candidate will have excellent credit skills gained through at least 10 years working within either a mid to large sized global or local bank. With at least three years focused on building, leading and driving team performance, you will be entrepreneurial and have the character to lead by inspiration as well as excellence. You will be comfortable in the Hong Kong market and well versed in cross border business.
