Head of Credit Risk – Corporate Banking

The Head of Credit Risk – Corporate Banking will manage a team of credit analysts to perform risk assessments on credit proposals in corporate/commercial lending, commodity trade finance and treasury credit. The team performs credit analysis and risk assessments to provide the Credit Committee with constructive conclusions and recommendations for consideration. The incumbent will supervise team members to provide quality output, undertaking and initiating special projects in order to comply with the latest credit risk management. The jobholder will approve credit applications with delegated authority.

The successful candidate will be a degree holder with a major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related disciplines, professional qualifications (ACIB/CFA/ACCA/FRM) are preferred. Applicants must have at least 12 years banking experience, including at least 8 years credit analysis experience, with a solid knowledge of banking and bills operations. Additionally applicants will need to have sound knowledge in financial analysis, banking laws and practice. An excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua, is essential. Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Credit Manager and Credit Manager opportunities.
