Role
The Head of Digital Strategy is a member of the Digital Marketing team reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing.
The Head of Digital Programs will lead a team of Digital Strategists supporting the lines of business in the Americas region, including retail funds, institutional asset management and retirement.
This team is instrumental in driving the business forward through innovative digital solutions and programs marketing investment strategies and thought leadership.
The primary responsibilities include:
Drive Digital Strategy
Lead a team partnering with the line of business clients to develop and execute digital strategy appropriate to each business while managing a cohesive digital plan for J.P. Morgan Investment Management overallSpearhead industry and client research to understand digital user needs and business capabilities to inform strategyLead strategic digital data analysis to determine key insights to inform strategyCreating a long-term digital innovation agenda
Lead Large Scale Digital InitiativesDrive key strategic initiatives from conception through launch, including the design, development and launch of significant new Websites, mobile applications and digital toolsManage internal and external creative resources and agencies to actualize strategyPartner with internal and external technology resources to develop solutions using the agile methodologyManage Key Client RelationshipsPartner with key stakeholders across the J.P. Morgan Investment Management to develop and drive digital strategyLiaison with other members of the Digital Marketing, Technology and other teams to provide digital marketing solutionsOversee and communicate successes and risks as they occur, managing client expectations
Lead Digital Marketing CampaignsLead a team to drive digital marketing campaigns integrating a wide range of digital tools and tactics, including rich media, search media, social media, email, mobile and advertisingLiaison with other groups within the Marketing organization to drive coordinated cross-channel marketing programsManage a High-Performing TeamLead, manage and motivate a high-performing team of four to six
Qualifications
15 years of digital marketing experienceMust have experience leading large, cross-functional digital initiatives, with a strong track record of success (10 years)Team management (10 years)Integrated digital marketing communications and campaigns (5-10 years)Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, with a proven track record in establishing a vision and building consensus to move it forwardStrong communication skillsAble to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to achieve goals effectivelyExpertise in both consumer financial services digital marketing/servicing and b-to-b digital marketing/servicing strongly preferredExperience in the asset management and/or retirement industry preferred
