Our client is a successful and diversified wealth management organisation that offers a wide suite of services including financial advice, funds management, insurance and superannuation.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will participate in the strategic and operational management of the business as an integral member of the Executive team. Providing leadership and being responsible for advice and client facing functions across the business together with attracting new clients will be key deliverables. Additional accountabilities include:
- Develop and build leadership and management capability of State Managers and Financial Advisers
- Lead and manage all advice and client facing functions nationally
- Ensure State Offices achieve sales , conversion and client retention targets
- Evaluate effectiveness of sales processes, procedures and costs against targets and make recommendations to enhance operations and sales effectiveness
- Drive client acquisition strategies and marketing initiatives
- Research and develop new business and sales plans to identify opportunities
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met and adhered to
- Represent and promote the business in the community and with partners, vendors and third party referral networks
Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified executives with a proven track record in developing and managing high performance sales teams in advice, financial planning or wealth management. You will possess extensive people management experience, a strong blend of strategic planning and execution skills and deep domain knowledge across advice including regulatory and legislative requirements. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to lead and motivate and high levels of drive and gravitas will be critical to your success.
