Head of Market Risk Reporting recruitment
The Head of Market Risk Reporting will manage a team of 8-10 market risk analysts. The team is responsible for producing risk reports and management information for stakeholders in front office, risk, senior management team and regulators.
The Head of Market Risk Reporting will ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the team’s deliverables as well as being in charge of driving ongoing enhancements to processes and controls. This role has a strong focus on designing and maintaining a robust control environment to meet strategic and regulatory requirements
Deliverables
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of risk information provided to a range of stakeholders
• Ensure adequate controls are implemented. Ongoing review and development of controls in the market risk function.
• Manage a team of 8-10, taking responsibility of progression and monitor development of all team members.
• Oversee design and implementation of new tactical and strategic processes.
• Manage key stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are effectively met.
• Regular review of processes and controls (Incl SOX testing/sign off)
Essential experience
- Good understanding of market risk
- Strong control background
- Investment banking experience
- Experience in controls in trading environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in leading projects
- Effective Management of senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
