Head of Technology Innovation – Retail Banking recruitment
Reporting to the Head of Retail for the bank and working closely with Technology and other Retail business heads this is a newly created position that will be responsible for providing leadership in idea creation and for driving technological innovation for the banks Retail business. This will fall across customer experience and achieve their ambition of being a bank for the future. In addition to building and driving a pipeline of innovations for the Retail Bank this role will also provide the leadership in executing and refining the process of identifiication of leading edge innovations a key objective of the role will be to also translate this pipeline into engaging, tactical programmes that make commercial sense and enhance customer experience. Experience in driving technological capability for some/all of the following areas needs to be demonstrated : payments, cards, loans, liabilities and SME' and in working with mobile technologies, social netowkring and/or other new channels coupled with a passion for emerging technologies is required. This does not necessarily need to have been acquired in a bank and canididates from leading edge consultancies and innovation houses will also be considered. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, coupled with a proven track record of delivering prototype and enterprise level industry leading solutions especially in the online/ecommerce/digital/mobile arena. Experience in managing and developing technology teams is also required.
