Based in London
This position reports into the Global Head of Trade Finance within a leading Corporate bank. You will be responsible for leading a team based in the UK and Europe with responsibility for managing the bank's engagement in the trade industry.
You will be personally responsible for managing the banks position with key trade/trade finance and related (e.g. e-invoicing) industry bodies, leveraging their influence on industry-wide developments for business benefit, in partnership with Transaction Services product and origination teams with in the bank.
Working collaboratively within Transactional Banking and across the bank to share industry insights and ensure alignment with Regulatory Developments teams to assess future changes and resulting impacts.
Leveraging from knowledge gained externally for the benefit of our business through engaging proactively with the origination community and the banks marketing agenda in providing subject matter expertise in support of strategic planning and client dialogue.
Drive opportunities for competitive differentiation / advantage and increased origination intensity with the banks clients arising from regulatory and market changes in the trade industry.
