Responsibilities:
As part of Operations Team for BNP Paribas Financial Services, the analyst performs daily production on multiple hedge fund types including single hedge funds, fund of funds, and synthetic fund of funds. The client base includes global investment management firms servicing domiciles in the United States and Cayman Islands as well as other worldwide domiciles working congruently through the BNP Paribas Security Services network. The entities/structures serviced in the King Of Prussia location are LPs, LTDs, LLCs or similar, SPC/SPs, SPVs, Master Feeders arrangements, and managed accounts.

Daily Production
· Ensure data integrity for all data sources feeding the processing platform
· Reconciliation of Cash and Currency Balances with Prime Broker(s)/Custodian(s)
· Defining Instruments within the Security Master
· Position and Trade Reconciliation between the Investment Manager and the Prime Broker/Custodian
· Calculating Net Dealer Gain or Daily Profit and Loss from Trading Activity
· Instrument Specific Accruals
· Creating and Updating Fund Specific Fee Accruals
· Processing Subscriptions/Redemptions into/out of the vehicle
· Allocating daily gains/losses to investors of the fund
· Pricing/Valuation of Securities
· Generation of Daily Statements
· Presentation of Statements for Signoff from Senior Analyst
· Distribution of Daily Statements to Client

Confirming OTC Trades
· Analyst is responsible for confirming all trades executed by the BNPPFS FX Hedging Team with the Counterparty as well as confirming Cash Settlement of FX Trades with the Prime Broker and Counterparty. The will also be responsible for "chasing and linking" confirmations of OTC Derivatives executed by clients

Maintenance/Innovation of Platform
· Analyst is responsible for seeking out best practices for processing and valuation of instruments
· Create and submit specifications to development staff for projects assigned by supervisor
· Proactive support of Development Projects including daily interaction, follow up, and testing
· Continually review production process looking for automation opportunities

Skills

· Finance/Economics or Financial Services Related Degree
· Must have working knowledge of SQL Server/Visual Basic
· Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the platform processing tools assigned to each strategy
· Able to effectively communicate with operations development staff by writing detailed specifications
· Must have attention to detail as well as strong work ethic
· Possesses basic knowledge of the Global Trading Markets
· Understands OTC Derivative term sheets/confirmations and how the platform interacts with these documents
· Strong valuation, quantitative, analytical, and economic skills
· Ability to produce quality output under challenging deadlines
· Highly proficient in computer applications, in particular Excel
· A commitment to learn about both financial and foreign exchange markets
· A strong, confident personality with excellent communication skills
· Must be willing and able to work extended hours if necessary
