Our award winning client is a leading provider of unique and in demand financial research, data analytics for the buy side market (Hedge funds and quant asset managers). Quite genuinely they have the number 1 market position for their particular market focus with very little competition, and so are well established with some of the world’s leading investment banks and hedge funds as clients. The company offers several market leading products in a niche that other technology providers have been slow to react to and hence are experiencing double digit growth.
Due to the company’s expansion a new sales opportunity has arisen in their established Hong Kong office to build out further the Asian market. The HK Sales Director requires a proactive, knowledge hungry sales executive that brings an intelligent sales style to the table.
You'll need to be able to show:
- A proven track record of hitting / exceeding targets selling successfully to the buy side - hedge funds / asset managers with a good network / rolodex of contacts within this community
- Have the personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and high growth company and team culture
- Be commercial in your approach, see every opportunity and how to adapt your approach accordingly
- Your will be given some key high profile commercial client relationship to manage but in the main you will be recognised as a sales hunter rather than a ‘farmer’– it requires a sales professional with the ability to establish the first contact, and manage the sales process through to the end - with multiple deals to juggle
