HR Manager recruitment

Located in Hong Kong, our client is an established leader among international law firms, looking for a senior generalist to join their team.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a critical role in staffing and recruitment, retention, compensation and benefits, international secondments, performance management, and ad hoc projects. As mentioned above, the role will have a primary emphasis in Hong Kong but with a desire for a candidate who possesses bigger picture, regional knowledge.

We are ideally looking for someone with a strong generalist background in a professional services or legal firm. Prior Hong Kong work experience and knowledge is valuable but not required. We are also looking for an individual who has the depth of HR experience in order to better serve the business, but at the same time, willing to roll up their sleeves in order to do the operational and implementation aspects of the role. Fluency in English is essential, with Cantonese and Mandarin being advantageous. In addition, we are also looking for:

• Broad and deep HR generalist experience

• Specialty focus in employee relations

• Understanding of Hong Kong employment ordinances and standards

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
