There has been growth in the International business and continued growth is expected. As a result, there is a strong need to ensure that the Wholesale business units and support groups with expanding HR needs internationally are well aligned, coordinated, and compliant with local employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
The primary areas of responsibility for the role are as follows:
•  Regional point of leadership and coordination for all HR related international expansion activities.
•  Partner closely with the regional Cross Border Governance or other regional lead for the licensing process.
•  Partner with regional HR teams to project manage the regional international HR streams of work for international expansion activities.
•  Partner closely with the Regional HR teams on the execution of regional HR expansion activities when needed – i.e. expansion-related hands-on HR work to ensure readiness.
•  Drive and track issue resolution of regional HR issues associated with expansion activities.
•  Identify risks associated with expansion activities. Partner with regional team to create and implement mitigation plans.   Document risk and mitigation plans.
•  Create and maintain project documentation including, but not limited to, status reports, issues log, risk log, decisions log, action item follow up.
•  Schedule and lead project status meetings with cross functional HR team members.
•  Represent International HR on regional business expansion project team meetings. Provide regular status updates to the regional business expansion project team.
•  Keeps manager and regional HR Manager updated on expansion issues, issue resolution, risks and overall status of HR expansion work.
•  Escalates issues, risks and status when needed.
•  Provides other expansion project related support as needed – research, document creation, coordination etc.
•  Create simplified and standard documents, processes and templates for usage in expansion across all regional locations.
•  Provide back-up support for Global Expansion Team HR Lead when needed.
•  Active member of the Global Expansion Team Member Experience team.  Includes but is not limited to: Provide change management insights and ideas, identify team member impacts and provide recommendations for addressing impacts, create project team documentation, lead meetings when team lead is not available and provide overall project management for the team.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
•  Successful Experience in providing excellent HR client support as a trusted, business driven, results oriented leader to include extensive HR generalist experience, including international experience in a large corporate environment.
•  Successful experience in providing excellent project management leadership and support. Includes prior experience in a project management focused role. 
•  Demonstrated ability to plan and successfully implement strategic plans in a multi-location, international and highly matrixed environment. 
•  Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with business partners, peers and team members.
•  Excellent consulting, collaborative, influencing and partnering abilities with business executives/leaders and HR partners.
•  Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs.
•  Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve and drive issue resolution.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to address difficult team and individual situations in a professional and effective manner.
•  Demonstrated strong project management skills.
•  Ability to prioritize and enable others to focus on critical goals and targets.
•  Significant HR knowledge and experience including, but not limited to, culture and diversity, change leadership, organizational development, compensation, payroll, benefits, HRIS, employee and labor relations (especially in EMEA countries), recruitment, talent planning, and general management practices.
•  Attention to detail.
•  Ability to travel to locations supported, including other EMEA countries, United States, and other locations as needed. Estimated travel 20%.
•  Undergraduate (or equivalent) degree in a related discipline preferred.
•  PMP or related project management certification a plus.
