Information Risk & Controls Manager

Overview:

A global bank is seeking an Information Risk controls manager to help support all areas of Logical Access Management (LAM) including SOX compliance.
this is an initial 3 Month contract paying in the region of £400 to £450 per day.

Job Duties:

1) Manage the Group Centre SLAM processes; including the control of Grey List remediation and managing the Joiner Mover Leaver processes within the SLAM application. This will ultimately involve all SOX business critical applications, gradually building up over the next two to three years. 

2) Ensure LAM controls are embedded into Business processes and working effectively and monitor dispensation for all non-compliance (especially around Segregation of Duties); also monitor any remedial activity to ensure it is appropriate, effective timely. 

3) Ensure all Group Centre Business LAM control requirements are operated, evidenced and tested within requirements.
 
4)  Administer and retain the master record of agreed LAM Role Profile Templates for Group Centre and ensure a robust change management process around it. 

5) Undertake an annual review of the finance roles master records and check to ensure baselined and updated profiles to maintain integrity.

6) Maintain a central library for all copies of operating models, procedures, standards and copies of the management information and attestations ensuring that they are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. 

7)  Be a point of contact for all systems access and SOD queries from business managers who require amendments to their user profiles. 

8) Analyse results of audit findings, both internal external, together with all logical access management issues and identify any trends and emerging risks, recommend enhancements and take remedial action 

9) Working to agreed reporting schedule, delivery collation of timely MI to internal and external customers. 

10) Acting as a key point of contact for the resolution of LAM related queries. 

11)  Responding in a timely manner to ad-hoc data requests. 

12)  Continual review and development of LAM MI production routines in order to streamline processes and reduce the potential for inaccuracies impact on internal external customers. 

13)  Support cleansing activities for business critical applications prior to uploading into Strategic LAM tool.

14) Support the Associate Director in the delivery of Cluster 7 control frameworks.§ Manage daily Cluster 7 control activity and administration.

1) Ability to deliver high quality work to demanding clients in some cases, within very short timescales.

3) Good communication skills both written and verbal.
4) Excellent organisational skills and time management.
5) Quality conscious, thorough attention to detail.
6) Experience of working in pressurised environment.Strong excel skills.
