Infrastructure Finance Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure robust procedures are in place to ensure that accurate and timely information is given to the fund administrators for the production of the quarterly NAV and annual financial statements.
- Ensure robust procedures are in place to ensure validation of NAVs
- Preparation of Fund KPIs for internal and external reporting (e.g. IRRs, TER, LTV)
- Analysis of the accounting policies used by each fund.
- Review of reporting produced to a high standard within agreed service levels.
- Ensure controls in place to ensure all information produced by administrators that is used externally or internally is correct.
- Leading the annual audit process and providing supporting documentation to production of annual statutory accounts work with auditors to ensure an efficient and timely audit is conducted.
- Completion of the statutory reporting within the agreed deadlines.
- Involvement in the Funds` semi-annual business planning process.
- Co-ordinate financial aspects of asset acquisitions, disposals and company re-structuring.
- Financial control issues identified and resolved-escalated as appropriate.
- Involvement in the cash management and reporting of the Funds, including liaison with the real estate Treasurer.
- Involvement in the fund build and launch process, including appointment of service providers, tax and structuring and set up of operatin
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified ACA , ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
SKILLS - KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience of fund accounting essential.
- Experience of real estate infrastructure accounts preparation and reporting essential.
- Understanding of accounting controls within a Fund accounting context essential.
- Experience in consolidation of a group of companies
EXPERIENCE:
- Production of regular- management accounts in a deadline orientated environment.
- Auditing background preferable.
- Dealing with auditors-3rd party partners and advisers-fund managers. (surveyors).
- Dealing with "client" type relationships.
- Fund accounting experience essential.
- Interest in Infrastructure sector
