Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor
Are you a qualified accountant or auditor seeking a new and interesting opportunity with a FTSE 100 company?
Our client, a FTSE 100 energy and utilities organisation, is seeking career driven, high-calibre auditors to strengthen its corporate audit function. Working as part of a sizeable team, you will help in the management and delivery of commercial focussed audits spanning all areas of the business; from oil gas exploration, power generation, energy trading, customer supply and energy efficiency programmes. Internal audit is seen as an independent, value-add consulting function that provides an objective assessment of risk and controls across the Group, evaluates the effectiveness of processes and offers pragmatic advice that will add real value.
Within the business, internal audit is seen as a 'talent pool', offering individuals the opportunity to develop professionally and progress either within the audit team or move into finance or operations.
Applicants should hold a professional accounting or auditing qualification - ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA, ACMA, IIA, CIA or equivalent with proven audit experience gained within practice or industry. Whilst experience of the oil gas or energy sector is beneficial, strong communication and influencing skills, an enquiring mind and strong commercial acumen is more important.
