Internal Risk Analyst recruitment

Our Management Liability team offer a specific range of insurance products including DO and employment practices liability insurance both in London and from offices across the USA, carving out a reputation of excellence in a demanding market.

We have an opening in our London office for an Internal Risk Analyst to support the DO team, which focuses on US market business. The role involves carrying out risk analysis from various data sources to provide insight into claims and stock market trends in order to make informed risk based decisions.   Part of the role will also involve responsibility for underwriting risks. You will also engage with key stakeholders such as brokers and Board members from external organisations in order to determine an acceptable level of risk the team is willing to take. 

Experience and Qualifications:

You should have proven experience working in risk analysis in the insurance industry, and be specifically experienced in the US markets for management liability, DO and employment practices liability. The candidate will therefore be numerate, and able to understand and translate data with proven quantitative analytical expertise specific to this field.   The ideal candidate would also have a keen understanding of the current economic and business trends in this field.

The ideal candidate should also have proven experience of engaging on a regular basis with business leaders in the field and senior management and board members of major companies in the US. 

 The ideal will ideally hold a degree qualification in a relevant subject area.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to liaise confidently with all members of an organisation and be able to work successfully in a team collaborative environment.
