QIC offers practical investment solutions that are meaningful at the whole-of-portfolio level in fixed interest, real estate, infrastructure, diversified alternatives, capital markets, and private equity. 

Our Global Private Equity (GPE) team is an in-house private equity team servicing a small, select group of institutional investors.  Operating with a strong principal investment mindset and uncompromising fiduciary standards, we develop, implement and adapt private equity solutions that deliver high performance over time.

GPE manages $3 billion globally invested via fund commitments, co-investments, and direct secondary purchases.  Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Brisbane, it has become one of the largest such programs in the region.  Our team of 12 investment professionals operate from offices in Australia, the US, and Europe.  Having successfully invested $270 million directly into portfolio companies, we are now seeking to expand this function, especially within the Australian market. 

This newly created position will manage substantial deal flow already generated by QIC, drive all areas of due diligence, author investment cases, and focus on operational value add. 

Are you a professional with 5-7 years experience within direct private equity, including coverage of the agriculture and resources sectors?  Are you passionate about driving and enabling sustainable capital gains?  Can you demonstrate your success having led deals? Are you confident negotiating sale and purchase agreements and bank documents?  Do you have experience representing investor interests on company Boards?
