IPV recruitment
Ambition is recruiting on behalf of a global investment bank that is looking to hire an IPV (Independent Price Verification) Analyst on a contract basis, initially for 6 months. Sitting within their Emerging markets Valuations team, you will be a key member of a team that is tasked with delivering end to end strategic solutions focusing on an array of asset classes in order to improve the accuracy of valuations.
As an IPV Analyst, your duties will include:
- Coordinate IPV process on a daily/monthly basis, ensuring full and accurate coverage.
- Ensure that processes are accurately followed so specific parts of the Balance Sheet for EM are appropriately valued with respect to current best practice and Accounting Standards.
- Management and escalation of daily production issues
- Produce month end returns and commentaries as appropriate
In order to be considered for this role, you will require:
-Strong relevant IPV experience
-Relevant product knowledge gained through a Product Control or IPV line role.
-Would look at candidates who don't have IPV experience but you must have at least 5-6 years of working in a Product Control role within Emerging Markets.
-Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent) would be desirable
- Strong communication skills, able to push back and questions where needed.
- Available on short notice
