IT Business Continuity Manager recruitment
The role involves supporting the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management activities across UBS Group IT BCM. Working with the Global and Regional teams to ensure cross regional collaboration and consistency where appropriate and driving tactical improvements.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- The coordination of Business Continuity lifecycle planning for the IT groups, IT Crisis Management, development, implementation, training and exercising
- Project, technical and administrative support for the Regional Offices testing program including Departmental Plans, System and Data Centre failover testing and Crisis Management.
- Management and oversight of IT Business Continuity Management risk and escalation to appropriate governance forums.
- Delivery and development of training and awareness programs to an agreed timetable
- Project and program management relevant to IT Business Continuity Management activities
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- Graduate or equivalent in Bachelor of Information Technology
- Certification in Business Continuity Management from DRII or BCI
- Minimum 8 years experience in excellent Business Continuity Management (BCM) knowledge in the financial services sector
- Knowledge of IT with an understanding of system and architecture inter-dependencies within financial institutions
- Excellent project management skills from requirement gathering to design and implementation
- Demonstrable experience of crisis management and business and IT continuity program management within the financial services industry
- Strong documentation, analytical and presentation skills (SQL / Excel skills for reporting is a positive)
- Proven experience of senior management engagement and relationship management in board meeting
- Significant experience driving large scale BCM or technology projects including those focused on IT recovery, business continuity and crisis management;
- He/She will be required to adopt flexible working hours to support the needs of the business within the policies of the bank.
