IT Project Manager

Duties:

•           Support the defined project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones and deliverables of projects for which incumbent is responsible.

•           Understanding of infrastructure components such as Databases, Operating Systems, Hardware, Servers, Network, and Storage.

•           Experience managing multiple projects; ability to drive execution.

•           Create and execute against detailed project plans, monitor project progress to plan, and provide periodic project status reports.

•           Take responsibility for project timelines, budget and success; optimize deployment of time and resource to meet budgetary constraints. Identify project risks and provide mitigation strategies.

•           Strong facilitation skills; presentation skills and ability to communicate to business leaders. Ability to represent the progress of the infrastructure program and drive execution.

•           Ensure project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately. develop and deliver progress reports and presentations where required.

•           Oversee a project through its life-cycle, from definition of requirements through implementation of solutions.

•           Work as a team member or in a project management capacity on cross functional process improvement project.

Skills:

•           Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

•           Minimum 8 years’ experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes

•           Minimum 8 years of project management or IT management experience, including working

•           Skilled and experienced in working with Excel, Power Point, Word, MS Project

•           Experience managing multiple projects (program management)

Education:

 

Bachelor’s Degree (technology or related field); 10 or more years’ experience

PMP Certification Required

Large scale project management a plus

Duration:  Contract 9 months+ Possibility of conversion to permanent employment
