IT Solutions Delivery Manager recruitment

The successful candidate will:

• Report to the CIO and interact with internal stakeholders, both executives and senior management, who have oversight or are responsible for technology capabilities for their customers and employees.
• Anticipate and play a collaborative role in proposing technology capabilities in support of business strategic roadmaps and creating a supporting technology strategy.
• Play a key role in managing and executing technology solutions that deliver client value and lasting business impact. S/he will ensure that development is highly strategic and focused on maintaining the reliability and functionality that is essential to both internal and external constituents.
• Lead, manage and coordinate across an organization responsible for design and architecture, development or outsourcing, project management and overall life cycle and implementation activities for a wide range of applications and services for lines of business or cross business use.
• Maintain a strong, general IT control environment that is responsive to the risks across all aspects of technology.
• Create transparency into the project portfolio and ongoing production support capital and operating expenses and budgets. Report on key technology success metrics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Articulate, across all levels of the Bank, business goals and connect them to technology capabilities to be delivered and a supporting project portfolio.
• Create technology roadmap in support of lines of business
• Adopt and execute standards as established through business and enterprise architecture.
• Recruit, lead and manage a team of technology professionals responsible for solutions delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to select and integrate major vendor software.
• Drive delivery of new technology initiatives through combination of outsourced software implementation and internal services integration and/or development.
• Oversee systems analysis, development, QA, release management and implementation.
• Adopt and execute technical standards, process and governance across a broad project portfolio.
• Collaborate with technical and business project managers to ensure project plans, resource allocations, budgets, issues and communication and implementation plans are developed, communicated and updated periodically.

Primary skills and experience include:

• Minimum of 15 years of proven IT leadership and business experience in the, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Experience in delivery of complex technology initiatives.
• Budget responsibility of $10 Million or more; line management experience required
• Experience with repeatable development processes and deliverables also preferred.
• Experience in systems application development, driving best-of-breed and best practices, standards, measurement, and service oriented architecture approaches.
• Reputation for being an effective thought leader and business partner to senior operating leaders
• Strong program management, project management, and execution and delivery oversight, with attention to detail around metrics, accountability, and operational excellence. PMP certification ideal.
• Demonstrated experience influencing a company’s overall business strategy and processes. Experience with international compliance requirements, and current regulatory environment helpful.
• Collaborative but decisive personal style; highly effective communicator and problem solver.
• A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, information systems or a related field.
