IT/Business Programme Director recruitment
My client is looking for someone with a good blend of technology and business change experience ideally gained within the Wealth Management space, although candidates from Asset Management or Investment Banking will also be considered. We are also open to people who are currently working within a Management Consultancy at Director Level or above.
You will look after a portfolio of technical and business change projects c.£10m annual spend and managing a team of c.100 people through a number of direct reports. The projects will encompass IT, people, organisational and process change so it is critical that you have experience of all areas, although as this role has a technology reporting line it is expected that 70% will have an IT leaning.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Programme and Project Management, including: Financial Management, Planning, Risk Governance, Strategy, Business Planning Design and People Management.
You will work with a broad range of stakeholders at Director and MD level throughout the business both in the UK and Internationally so communication skills at this level are essential. You will be expected to be high impact, with suitable gravitas and an exemplary academic record to include a degree and ideally MBA/MSc. You will also be expected to have Prince II/ APM accreditation.
We are only looking for people who have experience in all aspects listed and as such are unlikely to consider people who dont feel they tick "all of the boxes" My client is not looking for career contractors for this role and as such expects people to have a predominantly permanent role orientated CV.
