JAVA Developer

RTCS is seeking a very qualified JAVA Applications Developer. The Applications Developer will develop, test and deploy a set of secure cross-domain applications that may utilize the services and functions of existing accredited TCS products. The role requires that the candidate have demonstrable expertise in the development and debugging of network-aware applications such as email, chat, print, and voice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with security protocols and virtualization platforms. Responsibilities: Participate in, and contribute to, the design and architecture process for cross-domain application architecture for the various networked applications Liaise with engineering personnel familiar with existing TCS product functions for potential integration into an application solution Develop demonstrable proof-of-concept implementations of the cross-domain applications utilizing architectural design concepts and/or documents In conjunction with the Certification and Accreditation (CA) team implement and provide support for a CA procedure utilizing existing CA plans and documentation. Implement a test procedure for the cross-domain application(s) utilizing existing documented test plans to ensure verification and validation of product work with the customer and RTCS technical to support field deployment and resolve issues *** This position may be filled at the E04 or E05 level depending on required skills and years of experience.*** Required skills: A grade/level E04 position requires a minimum 6+ years of experience.
