Java Technical Lead, Electronic Trading, Equities
A Java Technical Lead is required for this top tier Investment Bank which is based in the City. The Java Technical Lead will be working on the European Sales Trading application and building the OMS platform which will cover all aspects of the development lifecycle across design, development, test automation and quant development. The Java Technical lead will remain majority hands on in writing application code to meet the technical solution as well as mentoring more junior members of the team. As the role is Front Office, applicants must have previous banking experience dealing with tight deadlines and dealing with the business directly.
The Java Technical Lead must have the following skills:
- Previous lead development experience across development
- Excellent core java and multi-threaded programming skills with a focus on server side applications
- Experience in building high performance, low latency and message driven applications
- FIX protocol experience
- Experience designing and developing order management platforms is a major plus
- Front Office business exposure is a MUST
- Equities business knowledge is also a major plus!
