Role
The Accreditation Department is responsible for working with the WUBS Sales team in Singapore to review all prospective new clients and is underpinned by internal policy and external regulations covering AML/CTF rules (Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism) and reporting requirements. The area is instrumental in ensuring that WUBS is not exposed to any undue risk through the activities of clients.
Reporting to the Accreditation Manager, the key focus in this role is to run the day to day operations both of the Accreditation/Reaccreditation Department, ensuring appropriate staffing, internal and external client service, communications between departments, and timely processing of new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively support the Sales team Singapore through adherence to SLAs and provision of expert advice where required
- Investigate client structures to ensure full beneficial ownership is understood and reviewed under appropriate policies
- Maintain up to date industry knowledge to ensure changes to internal policy can be supported seamlessly
- Ensure WUBS system records are maintained at all times in relation to changing client data
- Seek and deliver process improvement, particularly relating to management information development.
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years experience in Accreditation and at least 2 years supervisory experience. Excellent understanding of KYC principles and AML/CTF guidelines is a must as is excellent understanding of company structures and beneficial ownership principles with strong communication and decision making skills, and excellent command of English and Mandarin languages.
