Lead Architect – Derivatives Client Clearing
Our client is a global leader in Derivatives, Prime Services and Client Clearing and seeks a Lead Architect to help deliver a five year transformation programme to transform and create the #1 Clearing platform at a time of greenfield technology change.
The deliverables include the long-term Clearing strategy, year-on-year Roadmap, vendor analysis / selection and oversight / participation in all programmes interfacing into clearing. The successful hire will be responsible as an expert within the Firmwide Architecture function and will therefore be looked upon to establish and champion best practices and ensure common architecture decisions are implemented consistently in order to support the business and IT strategy. Ultimately you will drive the overall performance, standards and direction of architecture for Clearing across the firm.
Requirements:
- 5+ year track-record within Architectural leadership roles within the Investment Banking sector.
- Expertise in Line of Business Architecture roles – especially in one or more from Prime Brokerage, Futures Options and Clearing.
- Sound knowledge of current and forthcoming regulatory drivers, especially affecting Derivatives Processing.
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern architecture tools.
- Participation in relevant functional industry forums preferred.
