Legal Counsel – Principal Investments recruitment
As the sole counsel for these business lines you will have responsibility for the provision of legal advice to a wide range of private equity corporate transactions and to the fixed income business. This will include the management of external counsel, legal due diligence, engagement letters, terms of business, NDA’s as well as the legal structuring and negotiation with clients across a range of diverse emerging business areas in what is a small but very active team.
A strong academic background as well as training at a top City practice is essential. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide commercial solutions to complex legal issues combined with negotiating prowess and a track record of completing a diverse range of transactions with an emphasis on private equity but also the ability to handle a public MA deal as well as exposure to dealing with the legal aspects of a fixed income business that requires prompt and accurate responses.
