Our client is responsible for government policy and legislation concerning the health and safety of employees in the Commonwealth jurisdiction. They are seeking an experienced policy lawyer to join their Legal Policy Team as a Senior Legal Advisor.

The Senior Legal Adviser develops policy and provides advice and guidance in respect of the Acts administered by our client. The role is highly varied, and includes drafting policy and legislative instruments, monitoring national trends in litigation and preparing briefs and reports for key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have a sharp, analytical mind and be experienced in providing high-level policy advice. You will be an excellent communicator and possess outstanding legal drafting skills. In addition, you will enjoy performing a variety of tasks and will be committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.

The salary range for a Senior Legal Adviser is $91,368-$110,004 plus 15.4% superannuation.
