Leveraged Finance Vice President
Excellent opportunity for an Leveraged Finance Vice President for a European Corporate Investment Bank in London - City
The London team originates and executes large cap(€200m+) Sponsor and Acquisition Finance transactions in the UK, Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia and Poland. The European team has completed 15 transactions since July 2012, with the London team completing five.
The role will involve:
• Presenting bank's debt capabilities, identifying future deal-flow of interest, actively originating potential transactions (primarily sponsor LBO)
• Executing MLA/Bookrunner underwriting commitments
• Development of new business opportunities by product or geography
• Maintain regular contact with key, corporates, financial sponsors, funds and lead arranging banks
• Manage the execution of transactions; origination, credit analysis, financial modeling, Committee proposals and documentation
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of the team
• Experience of arranging large cap European private equity sponsor led leveraged finance transactions. Strong credit background
• Strong Financial Sponsor Client facing experience
• Proven track record of supporting LBO origination/execution including reviewing and negotiating term sheets and legal documentation
• Credit analysis training/modelling
• Finance (or related) Degree
• Candidates with German or Nordic language skills and/or deal experience will be viewed favourably
