Reporting to the Senior Liability Strategist, the qualified candidate will support the development and ongoing servicing of sophisticated Standish Liability Investment solutions. While interacting with other Standish and BNY Mellon Asset Management senior management, s/he will specifically: Collect and interpret financial market data (stocks, bonds, alternative investments, economic indicators, etc.) Play an active role in the development and enhancement of liability reporting. Work directly with the Senior Liability Strategist and LDI portfolio managers to understand pension financial volatility and develop investment strategies that hedge this volatility. Support the creation, production and delivery of asset/liability reports on a scheduled and/or ad hoc basis. Participate in investment strategy meetings with investment teams. Work closely with sales, consultant relations and client service teams to provide information on products and support the sales and client service process. Support new product development; and assist with client and prospective client meetings, as appropriate.
Qualifications
BS or BA . BS or BA in related field preferred. 3 years experience. 3-5 years relevant quantitative experience preferred. It is expected that the candidate will work to achieve professional certifications including: CFA and/or ASA, FSA.
